I normally paint my nails with regular polish, carefully, although sometimes small “marks” have to be corrected. In general, what I want to say is that painting your nails yourself with gel polish is much more difficult than with regular polish. Firstly, it is a little thicker, and secondly, you have to try hard to make it lie evenly. And here is the third point - if you apply it too thickly so that it spreads and lies in an even layer, it will literally bake in the oven and become covered with ripples. You will have to wash it off and reapply in thin layers. I was able to achieve a more or less even coverage in 3-4 thin layers.

As an amateur, it takes me a ton of time. Although this is not the polish’s fault, but solely mine. The polish itself lasts a long time, literally until the nails grow back.
