Pedicure socks “Soso”: instructions for use, videos and reviews

Good afternoon, Mikrushanochki! Today I will talk about such a beauty product as SOSU pedicure socks. Of course, any woman wants to look well-groomed and attractive. Untidy heels and calluses often cause us discomfort, and 1.5 hours spent on a pedicure does not always give the desired result. Sound familiar? Yes, for me!

Many remedies were tried: masks, creams, the vaunted Sholl file, which only caused cracks in the heels, pedicures in various salons, dry files and other methods of caring for the skin of the feet. I tried pedicure socks a long time ago, they were from an unknown brand (I remember when I was a student and decided to save money), as a result I got skin that was peeling off in patches and no results. 7 years later, I came across the original SOSU socks, and I still took the risk of repeating the experiment.

In general, initially, pedicure socks as a cosmetic product were invented in Japan; they were developed as an easy, safe, and most importantly quick solution for foot care, getting rid of calluses and corns.

The peculiarity of pedicure socks is that they can be used at home, there is no need to waste time on the salon and the road to it. And the results from SOSU socks are better than from using pumice or a dry brush. Let's understand in order how pedicure socks work and look at reviews about them.

The main causes of calluses, rough heels and corns:

  • uncomfortable open shoes that can rub or spank your heels;
  • poor foot hygiene;
  • unsuitable creams;
  • frequent or prolonged walking barefoot on rough surfaces;
  • diabetes mellitus or vitamin deficiency;
  • poor metabolism;
  • fungus on the feet;
  • hormonal disorders.

Let's start in order. The first important point of beautiful foot skin is proper daily hygiene. It is needed in order to eliminate excessive growth of keratinized skin. Also, do not forget to use a moisturizer, which will help maintain the normal water balance of the skin and prevent it from drying out and cracking. And once a month it is necessary to carry out a skin cleansing procedure; now the usual pedicure can be replaced by using SOSU socks.

Learn more about use

Before using socks, perform the following procedures:

  1. Wash your feet with soap.

  2. Wipe dry.
  3. For painted toenails, remove the polish.

  4. Cut the socks along the marked line. If the active substance is applied separately, open the sachets and pour the composition inside the socks.
  5. Put on your socks and secure them with Velcro or ties to restrict air from getting inside. Wear regular socks over the mask.

  6. Keep peeling for the time specified in the instructions (duration ranges from 30 minutes to 2 hours).
  7. After completing the procedure, wash your feet using a cosmetic product.

After the effect appears (3-7 days), the skin begins to peel and peel off, as with a sunburn. At this time, you cannot peel off peeling skin, use scrubs, files, pumice, moisturizing and nourishing creams or ointments.

Pedicure socks - what are they?

Let's now see what SOSU socks are and what they look like. Typically, the manufacturer's packaging contains 2 pairs of socks of universal sizes from 36 to 42, each pair in its own separate sealed packaging. The manufacturer offers various flavor options, you can choose according to your taste.

In individual packaging there is a pair of socks - they look like plastic cases with a cosmetic solution, which contains many components that fight various skin diseases, including dermatitis, fungi, cracks, while providing hydration and nutrition to the skin of the feet.

The covers are made of dense polyethylene, which does not leak and keeps all the solution inside. There are special fasteners on the outside that allow you to put the socks tightly on your feet, but I like to put cotton socks on top.

The cosmetic liquid of SOSU socks has its own unique composition, and it is absolutely safe, which will allow the use of pedicure socks during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Cosmetic components affect the skin of the feet with triple force:

  • soften and exfoliate old dead cells (keratolytic effect);
  • heal cracks and wounds and protect against bacteria and fungus;
  • moisturize and soften the new layer of skin.

Simply put, SOSU pedicure socks provide high-quality peeling with simultaneous therapeutic care.

The cost of 1 pair is 891 rubles before the discount, the cost of 2 pairs is 1341 rubles before the discount.

Alternative options

There are alternative options:

  • Gel socks - soaked in a mixture of various oils, moisturize the skin, soften dead tissue. Clean softened areas of the skin using mechanical means (files, pumice). The effectiveness is less pronounced; you need to wear gel socks every other day (minimum) for 20-45 minutes to get the effect.

  • Liquid blade for pedicure is a group of preparations (gels, liquids) based on fruit acids. Intended for treating the skin of the feet and performing unedged manicure. Reduces the risk of fungal infection to a minimum.

  • Foot masks based on natural products containing acids. They require expenses for purchasing the necessary products and time for preparation. Inferior in effectiveness, although much safer.

SOSU pedicure socks how they work

What causes the skin on your feet to peel off from socks? It's simple! The composition contains lactic acid, it is often used for peeling. The acid penetrates the top layer of skin and interacts with it, loosens the top layer of the epidermis, and moisturizes the new layer of skin, provoking the production of collagen.

Lactic acid is the main component of any pedicure socks. But additional components can be different, each of which performs its own specific functions:

  • castor oil - softens and protects against dryness;
  • burdock - healing and hydration;
  • ivy - healing of wounds and cracks, relieving inflammation and skin tone;
  • soapwort - cleansing and protection from sweat;
  • watercress - protective properties from external factors, cell regeneration;
  • sodium hyaluronate - normalization of water balance;
  • ceramides - increase immunity;
  • lemon - softening and ensuring smoothness, saturation with vitamins;
  • lecithin - protection against dryness;
  • soy glycine sterols - rejuvenation, preservation of moisture in the skin;
  • sage - barrier function against bacteria, deodorizing effect, control of sweating;
  • hyaluronic acid - responsible for the elasticity and firmness of the skin;
  • squalane - saturates with nutrients.

SOSU pedicure socks: rules of use and contraindications

The main advantage of SOSU Japanese pedicure socks is their ease of use. This is what they look like in the package:

Advantages:

  • easy to use at home and go about your business;
  • the skin renews itself quite quickly, while the socks combat corns and calluses;
  • with regular procedures (every 2-3 months), the long-lasting effect of well-groomed legs is maintained;
  • after the procedure, the skin remains moisturized and well-groomed longer;
  • absolute sterility;
  • safe for health, allowed for pregnant women and people with diabetes;
  • provide a complex effect: remove corns, treat, moisturize and care;
  • inexpensive, two pairs of socks will cost you less than one visit to the salon for a pedicure;
  • choice of scents: lavender, rose or mint.

Flaws:

Often in reviews of pedicure socks you can find references to the smell or low effect, I attribute this to the fact that I bought a fake, like I did many years ago. Original SOSU socks really work, so pay attention to the seller and try to buy from official stores or trusted distributors. I order my socks from the Japonica store.

The only drawback can be that for the first week after use you will have to wear socks and closed shoes, because the skin will still renew itself, and it is aesthetically better to hide it. But this is only a week, but then the heels will be perfect. It is much worse to hide unkempt and unkempt heels all the time.

Result.

Thanks to Sosu pedicure socks, the skin on your feet is truly renewed. It became soft and smooth, the corns disappeared.

However, is everything good about these pedicure socks?

After two weeks, the condition of the skin on the feet returned to its original state: the same calluses, the same dryness.

I can only add that the skin of my legs began to look even more unkempt than before using the socks.

There is a logical explanation for this: pedicure socks renewed the surface layers of the skin, but did not remove the cause of the appearance of rough skin.

Is it worth buying such expensive socks? The answer is no!

Sosu socks

- a completely useless, labor-intensive and financially expensive procedure. If you want to experience the magic of skin renewal, you can use a foot peeling, which will cost very little and bring more benefits.

SOSU socks instructions

It is important to use pedicure socks, strictly following the instructions, then you will get maximum results. The rules are not very complicated:

  • one pair of socks is designed for 1 use;
  • if possible, steam your feet for 1-2 minutes in warm water (although I didn’t do this);
  • apply for 1-2 hours depending on the degree of neglect (I left it for 2 hours for medium calluses), it is better to wear cotton socks on top to ensure the best fixation;
  • after use, rinse with warm water;
  • after 3-4 days the skin will begin to burst and peel off, carefully remove the films; if the skin comes off easily, do not pull too hard so as not to damage the skin. First, the thinnest layers (the middle of the sole) will come off, and then the denser and thicker layers will be renewed - the heels and the skin on the toes. After just 5-6 days, the skin will be completely renewed, smooth and elastic.
  • apply no more than once every 2 weeks, ideally repeat a second time in a month, then there will be a cumulative effect and the procedure can already be carried out once every 2, and then every 3 months.

You need to understand that the socks contain components that protect against skin diseases, but you need to understand that they do not cure them. There may be an effect of reducing discomfort, but it is better to treat the fungus with drugs, under the guidance of a doctor.

IMPORTANT! If you have varnish on your feet when using socks, the decorative design of your nails will deteriorate, the varnish will peel off and peel off. Therefore, it is better to wipe off the coating from the nails and reapply it after the procedure.

Contraindications:

Please note the contraindications for Japanese pedicure socks SOSU

  • should not be worn on open wounds and scratches;
  • for allergies and intolerance to the components of the composition;
  • launched version of the fungus.

Pedicure acid peeling socks, foot mask from Aliexpress: reviews

Valeria: “I always do acid peeling with socks. It is effective and good for your feet. The main thing is not to overdo it. Personally, my limit is 3-4 times a year, more often is harmful to the skin.”

Irina: “I have never tried this kind of peeling, but I really want to. I’ve always made do with a bunch of brushes and files, now I’m thinking of ordering them on Aliexpress. I looked at the catalog – the prices are ridiculous, for such pennies and such an effect!”

Arina: “I have been working as a manicurist and pedicurist for more than 6 years. After pedicure socks appeared on the market, my job became less difficult and unpleasant. I always recommend to my clients to do peeling this way!”
