Instructions and recommendations for use

In order for Vinylux varnish to lay flat and the coating to remain without chips or cracks for more than 7 days, you must adhere to the rules described below:

1. The nail plates must first be given the desired shape. If scissors were used to perform the manipulations, then the uneven edges should be processed with a file.
2. After this, you need to push back or carefully cut the cuticle, otherwise the varnish will not look natural.

3. Sand the surface of the nail with a buff (a special soft file for smoothing the surface of the nail plates).
4. Then it is recommended to degrease the nail plates, then the varnish coating will lie more evenly and there will be no gaps.
5. Next, you need to shake the bottle of varnish well.
6. Unscrew the cap of the bottle on which the brush is attached and carefully remove excess varnish from the brush (it is recommended to press the brush against the edge of the bottle).
7. Apply the first layer. It is basic and is necessary so that the next layer will stick better. During the application process, the following manipulations must be observed:

• The varnish coating should initially be applied in the center, from the cuticle to the edge of the nail;
• Next, the varnish should be applied along the edges of the nail plate, also from the cuticle to the edge of the nail;
• The product should be applied in a single thin layer. When applying the first layer, the varnish may lie in stripes, and unpainted areas may remain (this is the norm). They will be hidden by a second layer of varnish.

1. The varnish should be applied very quickly, as the composition dries quickly and wavy lines or stripes may form.
2. Then you need to let the base dry (it takes about 2-3 minutes).
3. After this, you need to apply a second layer of varnish to the nail in the same way. In this case, the varnish will apply more evenly. There should be no gaps or streaks after applying the second layer.
4. Leave the varnish to dry again for about 5 minutes.
5. For a more saturated color, you can apply the varnish with a third layer, observing the same manipulations.
6. Next, you need to shake the bottle with the top coat and apply the composition over the varnish. When applying the finish, it is important to seal the edges of the varnish to protect it from chipping. To do this, you need the top coat to extend slightly onto the inside edge of the nail.
7. Allow the top coat to dry completely. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes. When using a coating, it should be taken into account that the product dries even faster than varnish, so manipulations should be carried out carefully, but quickly.

After the nail grows out (nail plates often grow back faster than chips appear), the polish must be removed using a cotton pad and acetone-based nail polish remover. You can use a special product from the CND company, which more carefully removes the varnish coating and cares for the nail plates.

If the varnish has thickened due to long-term storage, then it can be placed in a warm place (for example, on a radiator, a heating pad, or heated with a hairdryer with hot air). You can also add high-quality acetone (2-3 drops) to the varnish and mix the composition thoroughly. If the varnish coating is not well mixed with acetone, then gaps will form when applying the product.

Important. If a chip appears on one nail, and the rest of the nails are in “perfect” form, then you need to carefully remove the varnish from the damaged nail plate and apply it again.

It is strictly forbidden to cover the chip with varnish and then with a top coat, since in this case it will be very difficult to remove the varnish from the nail. Additionally, the “repaired” area will be distinguished by unevenness.

Which coating lasts longer on nails and for how long?

Shellac

What did the “test” show?

When purchasing the product, you should take into account that in addition to the varnish you need to purchase a top coat, the price of which can be approximately 550-630 rubles. As a result, the total purchase price is approximately 1000-1200 rubles.

When purchasing the product on the official website, the cost can be about 430 rubles. (top coat RUB 460). The total purchase price can be 900 rubles. Delivery costs must also be taken into account. But when purchasing a varnish coating of several colors, delivery is often provided free of charge.

Vinylux is superior to conventional varnishes in its long-lasting durability, and when comparing the varnish coating with shellac (the product also lasts a long time on the nail plates), the use of an ultraviolet lamp to dry the product is not required.

As a result, Vinylux is easy to apply and remove like regular varnish, and chips do not appear on the coating for a long time (as when using shellac). The product does not disturb the condition of the nails.
