The basis

The base for TNL gel polish is also available in several forms:

Color base. This is a line of camouflage products that can be used as a substrate for a flower garden or a base for a French jacket, or as a stand-alone covering. There are 14 delicate natural shades. The texture of the bases is medium thick and has a banana scent.
Base Gel Polish. This is a regular product with a sticky layer that protects the nails from the pigment seeping into the thickness and adheres the flower bed to them more firmly. It is transparent and liquid and is not intended for leveling.
Rubber Base. The rubber base for TNL gel polish has a thick texture and does not smear. It is suitable for uneven and weakened nails, even if applied in 1 layer.
Care Base. Medium thick product. Designed for strong, healthy nails, perfectly fixes gel polish.
Comfort Base. Used for leveling as a base on thin or too flexible nails, as well as for long lengths. The texture is medium thick, there is a sticky layer.
Special Rubber Base. It has a thick consistency and elasticity, so it is used for thin, brittle nails. The product has the property of self-leveling. You definitely need a primer for it. Before applying the flower bed, it is worth removing the sticky layer.
Sculptural Base. It is a thick viscous product, so it smoothes the nails well and also increases their strength. It should also be used as a primer.
Strong Base. This is a rigid backing for a flower bed, ensuring long-term wear even with problem nails. It is suitable for long lengths, including those obtained as a result of extensions. The product has a thick consistency, suitable for leveling.
Ultra Base. This is a traditional self-leveling product. You can use it for thin and strong nails. The base does not need to remove the sticky layer.

How to apply TNL Professional gel polish correctly

Application of TNL Professional gel polish differs depending on the type of product, but there are general steps:

Nails need to be prepared, that is, given shape, cuticles trimmed, sinuses cleared, and natural shine removed with a buff.
The surfaces are wiped with a degreaser, then a primer is applied.
The next product is a base coat, which is chosen according to the type of nails.
It needs to be dried in a lamp.
Then apply gel polish in 2 layers.
Each of them is polymerized.
The last finishing agent used is a fixative.
After its polymerization, the manicure is ready, but if the top has a sticky layer, the nails are also wiped with a cleaner.

When using Glass effect gel polish, at the 5th stage, apply a special “Mirror Shine” coating, which is air-dried for 3 minutes. If your nails are painted with cats, in step 5 you can use a regular dark-colored gel polish as a base. After drying it, a product from the Magnet Effect series is applied. And while it is wet, a magnet is held over the nails to form a highlight.

When using Chameleon effect series products, first apply regular colored gel polish. And the nails are painted “chameleon” at the 7th stage, after drying the base in a lamp.

Thermo gel polish TNL (Tatnail)

Thermo-gel polishes are a popular new product in the effects of gel polishes, which, like everyone else, is borrowed from regular polishes. Its essence is that the color of the coating changes depending on the ambient temperature: indoors it will be one color, outdoors another. It also depends on the temperature of the fingers themselves: if they are cold, the color will be one, and when it is warm, another. But the most interesting effect is achieved on long nails, when, due to the temperature difference on the nail bed and the free edge of the nail, a kind of jacket with a blurred gradient line is created using thermal gel polish. The effect itself may differ between different gel polish manufacturers, and primarily in the color combinations of cold and warm colors.

Here I would like to show the thermal effect using the example of gel polish produced by TNL (Tatnal) . Its bottle differs from the other gel polishes of the manufacturer in that it is also made in the form of a gradient, although its color is the same for the entire thermal collection - white and blue, and the color transition can only be seen in the catalog.

My piece in the collection is number 5 - in warm temperatures it looks pure white, and when it gets cold it turns dull pink. There is nothing special about applying this gel polish with a thermal effect - the sequence of steps is no different from any other three-phase gel polish. The only point worth considering is that gel polish does not require preliminary filing of the nail plate when preparing it for long-term coating, which is very useful for nails. It dries in a 36 Watt ultraviolet lamp for 2-3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 20-30 seconds.

Of course, you can create a design on such gel polish, but you need to take into account its peculiarity: the colors of the design must be combined with both the warm and cold shade of the thermal gel polish. Therefore, I would not recommend covering the color completely with some kind of pattern or slider. By the way, it is very interesting to make a drawing with the color of one of the thermo-tones, then when you switch to it it will magically disappear :) But here there is a question with the selection of colors, since you cannot make a design with the same gel polish.

I tried to experiment with a design on thermal gel polish and did some stamping. I must say that it is very cool when the background under the picture changes its color :)

How to remove TNL nail extension gel

TNL nail extension gel is not only transparent, but also camouflage, that is, in natural pink and beige shades. And it can be used as an independent coating when performing a French or nude manicure. And when the time comes or you want to remove the design, you need to do the following:

Remove the top layer with a carbide cutter, working as if correcting a gel polish coating.
Then the length is cut off to see the end and distinguish the artificial material from the natural nail.
As the gel is removed, you can replace the cutter with a softer one and continue removal.
When islands of artificial material remain on the nail, they are removed with a medium-hard file (180 grit), working without pressure.
To restore the surface smoothness, they go over it with a hard buff.

At home

Hardware removal requires a lot of experience, so at home it is better to use hand tools:

Use a 100 grit file to remove the length if it was extended and not just strengthened with gel.
Use the same tool to remove material from their surfaces.
Brush your nails periodically to see how much artificial coating remains.
Next, you should work with a 180 grit file, treating the surface of the plates in the same way.
Then you should use a buffer with an abrasiveness of 320 grit.
When the artificial material is removed, you can polish your nails with a soft file.

The gel extension can only be removed by filing, but the gel polish can be soaked with a special liquid. First, remove the top coating with a file. Then apply a piece of cotton pad soaked in remover to the nails and wrap the tip of the finger in foil. You can also use silicone caps. After 10-15 minutes, remove everything and use an orange stick to separate the soaked coating.
