Today I will tell you about Iron Top, which translated from English means Iron Top. In fact, I would not call this top iron, because it is flexible and very plastic, but first things first. I will tell you about the results of my tests, and we will also conduct a hard test drive of the top together with you.
Manufacturer: TNL. This is top gel polish (top for gel polish) without a sticky layer, 10 ml. In UV lamps this top dries in 2 minutes, in ice and hybrid lamps - 1 minute. Made in Korea and good until December 2022.

Now let's move on to practice. I'll put the top coat on my nail and we'll put it to the test.
I prepare a natural nail for gel polish coating. I process the lateral sinuses with a diamond cutter and clean out the pterygium.
After removing the old coating, I don't need to sand anything. If there is no coating, you need to sand the natural nail.
I shake off the dust and degrease the nail plate. I wait until the nail turns white.
I apply acid-free primer Fiore, it can be on the whole nail, or only on the lower part of the nail. The primer gives a slight stickiness.
Next I apply rabber base Fiore, level the surface and dry it in a lamp.
Now I apply the black color Fiore, as close to the cuticle as possible. I'll dry it in a lamp. Now you can apply and dry the second layer.
Now let's move on to the main thing. I want to see how the Iron top holds up.
Please note that for any rubbing and sliders, the surface of the nail plate must be well leveled and strengthened. Only this guarantees the durability of the material.
I applied a layer of topcoat and dried it for 20 seconds in a 48W lamp, now you can rub it in.
Let's complicate the task for the top. I chose a silver rub, let's see if the color will wear off.
Using a silicone brush, I begin to gradually apply the rub, starting from the cuticle area and further down.
You see how my nail is already shimmering. Remove excess with a brush.
Do not forget that any rubbing must be dried in a lamp in order for it to adhere to the nail.
And now let's move on to an equally important stage - fixing the rub with a top coat. First you need to file all the ends.
I'll go under the cuticle with the silicone brush one more time. Remove dust with a brush.
Very important! In order for the rubbing to shine well and be mirror-like, it is necessary to remove all the slightest remnants of particles of the rubbing itself. The shine depends, among other things, on the quality of the rubbing itself.
How well the rub will stay on the nails depends on the top coat. I think that the rub will hold up well because this top is very flexible and durable, as my previous experiments have shown.
To prevent any top coat from making the rubbing matte, you need to apply it as quickly as possible. So I quickly apply the first layer, seal the end and dry it in a lamp for 10 seconds.
The gloss has not gone away, the same mirror remains as before applying the top. Now you can work out all the corners so that the rub sticks well to the nail. We put it in the lamp and dry it thoroughly for 1-1.5 minutes.
An excellent result - the top coat is completely dry, glossy, and the result is a very beautiful mirror rub.
Now we will conduct the most interesting part of the test.
I'll take some kind of metal picker and try to scratch the top.
You know, in fact, even scribbling it, I see how quickly it levels out. I did the same test live. Within 10 minutes even traces of scratches disappeared.
Let's try to complicate the task. I'll take a very sharp object.
As you can see, the deep scratches from the sharpened spatula remain, and as I understand it, they will not go away. We can check this. In about 3 weeks I will show you the test result.
I often get asked if this top looks yellow on a white background? Doesn't turn yellow. But for clarity, I will show you the test on a white piece of paper. Apply the topcoat and dry it in a lamp until the sheet is soaked.
You see, the leaf remains completely white. Yes, it was saturated and darkened, but the coating itself did not turn yellow.
Now we will try to bend it and break it. You will see that this top is not iron at all. It is very flexible and plastic. There is not a single breakage, not a single crack. This is very cool for tops.
