This time I want to talk about gel polish, brand Ekaterina Miroshnichenko - E.Mi. And to be even more correct, it is called E.MiLac.
I want to say a few words about getting to know this brand. One cloudy day, a technologist from Amy came to our salon, she told us fabulously about their wonderful gel polish, wild design elements (in my opinion, it’s really wild, just look at their Instagram), etc.
So I was hooked and while on vacation I decided to place an order and chose 4 shades:
1.Black gloss - Black gloss 030
2.White lotus - White lotus 001
3.Flawless red - Flawless red 074
4.Capri - Capri 089
And one top - Top Gel.
Now to the very essence and more precisely, let’s start with the list, with gloss black.
When choosing a gel polish, I look at 4 bases: the brush, the amount of pigment (whether the color will be saturated or not), the consistency, and whether the bottle is convenient. I will say all this below.
Black gloss 030. This is the most ordinary black gel polish, a girl’s dream - goth, without flicker, shimmer, etc. The brush is an ordinary one, soft, not wide, it is convenient to paint over awkward places on the nail, the consistency seems to be good, but if you use a little more on the brush, the color may not dry well (which is not good at all, because it can swell over time, which happened to me after washing the dishes. I don’t want to blame the poor quality of the color itself, because I applied all the shades on my nails to the Kodi rubber base. Since it lasts best on my nails. The shade is saturated, but in one color I I would never apply gel polish, at least 2 layers.Strangely enough, the bottle, despite its squareness, fits well in the hand.
White Lotus 001. This is the best white gel polish I have ever come across. Everything about it is perfect. Brush, consistency, density. It applies really well in 1 coat, but my habit of painting in 2 coats will not go away. If you are looking for a white shade for a French jacket, I recommend it to you.
Flawless red 074. This is not a classic red, I would call it more of a coral red, it gives off an orange feel, but the classic still looks different. But still, I liked this shade too, it’s also easy to apply, doesn’t flow, doesn’t bulge, a master’s dream..)))
Capri 089. My favorite color a la Tiffany, it’s very difficult to find a perfect match, I’ve tried different shades from different GL companies, but I’m still looking. The color is beautiful, really beautiful, worthy of attention. But it’s very thick, I don’t know, maybe it’s some kind of collection, it doesn’t even out on the nail, it also needs to be applied in a very thin layer, otherwise it will suffer the same fate as with black - after a couple of hours it will swell up inside and will “walk” "back and forth. I'm not happy with him. Beautiful, but he gave me a lot of problems. If anyone has it in their collection, write down in the comments how it behaves in yours.
I want to say right away and remind you once again that I used Rubber Kodi as the base, and Amy’s colors and top. Probably this gel polish is “tailored” to its base, and then most likely nothing would swell. But forewarned is forearmed. I will leave the colors, they are really beautiful, they please my eyes.
A few more words about the topcoat.
I didn’t really like the top either, because 1. the brush is too wide, like a spatula, it was honestly difficult to paint over the little fingers, so I would replace the top with the same Cody. The ion is very liquid. I’m used to it when the top doesn’t run anywhere, as soon as I applied it, it waits for its finest hour. The only plus is the shine. The shine is very good.
Well, I think this is where I should end my review. I told everything I wanted to tell.
Oh yes, I bought it at Amy’s office on Nagatinskaya (this is if you live in Moscow), so I don’t want to doubt that it’s a fake, since this is a sales office, and they obviously don’t need such jambs. Finally, I would like to attach a photo.

When choosing a color in the store, I seriously missed: E.Mi E.MiLac #065 under electric lighting seemed to me more nude with a brown base, but the end result was pink, although not “Barbie,” but pink. And I don't like pink.
Expanded opinion: The shade Dusty Cedar is translated as Dusty Cedar, it was the word “dusty” that confused me... Dusty Cedar is part of the Cozy Evening (CE) collection.
The very nice shape and color of the bottle is captivating. Most often, gel polishes are packaged in black, less often white bottles of a boring shape, but here the cube is a pleasant pink color...))

The brush is perfect, just perfect! An elastic “spatula” that was cut evenly. With its help, the nail bed near the cuticle is painted quickly and easily, and perfectly, yes!
The varnish is thick, and if you’re not used to it, you can make a lot of mistakes, but a napkin with a degreaser easily removes this “first pancake” and then everything goes like clockwork. You just need to put a little less varnish on the brush, otherwise it will bleed into all places.
Single layer varnish. There is no point in messing around with two thin layers, one layer of medium density is enough, the brush does everything itself. I paint 4 nails in a minute and a half and immediately into the lamp.
The pigmentation is beyond praise! The varnish applies without bald spots or other vagaries. Everything is very easy and simple.
There is a “swatch” on the bottle, this is in case there are enough varnishes of this brand to quickly navigate the choice of color and not open each one.
I don’t argue that the shade is pleasant, delicate, beautiful, it doesn’t make your fingers red or blue, but my, what does Dusty Cedar have to do with it?
I can’t talk about durability, since I could only wear it for three days... For three days, naturally, everything held up perfectly: both durability and gloss. Here it should be clarified that the base and top I had were TNL Professional brands, I don’t use them anymore, I found a better one
By the way, with this manicure everything immediately went wrong for me... I did it late at night at work, it was not very convenient, I obviously made a mistake in terms of choosing the place and lighting, what can I say)) The base and top spread mercilessly, the color of the varnish It ruined my whole mood and evening. Then I remembered that I had a package with “broken glass” in my bag and, realizing that I had nothing to lose, I stuck it on my ring finger. Turn out the lights!
Three days later I took off this “beauty”. It was difficult to remove, but it seems to me that this has more to do with the base than with the varnish itself.
On my index finger, the base ran under the cuticle, sorry. The “broken glass” effect, as it turned out, was not mine either, this was the first and last time. But I will never paint this color again in my life, so we have what we have:
